Wanted Person Cuffed in Tabina, Zamboanga Del Sur

TABINA, Zamboanga del Sur (Nov. 21, 2018) - PNP personnel of Tabina Municipal Police Station conducted manhunt operation against wanted person at Purok Paradise, Barangay Abong-Abong, Tabina, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8:00 AM of November 20, 2018.

The operation was resulted to the arrest of the suspect identified as one Rey Regalado y Lamesa, 36 years old, married, fisherman, and a resident of Purok Paradise, Barangay Abong, Abong, Tabina, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The accused  was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Presiding judge of 9th Judicial Region, Branch 29, RTC, of San Miguel with Criminal Case number 18-107 for the crime of Violation of R.A 9262 with bill recommended of thirty-six thousand pesos (36,000.00).

Said person temporarily detained at Tabina Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.

2 Students were wounded in Motor Vehicular Traffic Accident

TABINA, Zamboanga del Sur (Nov. 19, 2018) – Two student were wounded in Motor vehicular traffic accident transpired along the Provincial Road of Purok Paran, Poblacion, Tabina, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:35 PM of November 18, 2018.

The victims were 19 years old, Grade 11 student and a resident of Purok Sanib Langis. Barangay Poblacion, Tabina, Zamboanga del Sur and 18 years old female Grade 12 student and a resident of Purok Paran, Barangay Poblacion, Tabina, Zamboanga del Sur.

Investigation conducted disclosed that the victims were just walking at the left side of the Road when a SMC Sky go King 125, whose owner/driver was identified as Danny Arbelo, 26 years old, single and resident of Purok Uptown, Poblacion, Tabina, Zamboanga Del Sur, was travelling on a high speed in an opposite direction (Poblacion Proper to Purok Paran) suddenly hit/bump the two victims.

Both victims sustained injuries in different parts of their body and were rushed to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center, Dao, Pagadian City for immediate medication.

After the incident, the SMC driver fled towards the hilly areas of Brgy. Poblacion, Tabina, Zamboanga Del Sur.

Man Arrested for the Crime of Unauthorized Commercial Fishing

TABINA, Zamboanga del Sir (Oct. 16, 2018) – The PNP personnel of Tabina MPS conducted police operation at PurokParan, Barangay Poblacion, Tabina, Zamboanga del Sur at about 9:00 AM of October 15, 2018.

Arrested was Ronald Puno y Ucong, 35 years old, male, fisherman and a resident of above mentioned place.

The suspect was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by  presiding judge of 7th MCTC of Dimataling, Tabina and Pitogo docketed under Criminal Case # number 18-2293-T for the Crime of Unauthorized Commercial Fishing with bail bond of four thousand pesos (Php4,000.00).

Upon the arrest of the suspect, he was informed of his Constitutional Rights as embodied under the Philippine Constitution and was immediately brought by the arresting officers to Tabina MPS for booking and documentation. 

The suspect is now temporarily detained at Tabina MPS  locked-up cell while applying for his temporary liberty thru payment of his bail bond amounting to four thousand pesos (Php4,000.00) at 7th MCTC (Dimataling, Tabina and Pitogo).

Wanted Person Arrested in Tabina, Zamboanga Del Sur

TABINA, Zamboanga del Sur (Sept. 9, 2018) – The Police Operatives of Tabina MPS and Pitogo MPS successfully arrested wanted person during the conduct of joint Manhunt Operation at Purok Amor, Barangay Abong-abong, Tabina, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:00pm of September 6, 2018.

The operating team identified the arrested wanted person as Alano Estrebello Y Ganzan, 27 years old, single, company guard and a resident of the above-mentioned place.

The accused was by virtue of Warrant of Arrest docketed under Criminal Case # 18-2288-P for the crime of Reckless Imprudence Resulting to Serious Physical Injury with bail recommended amounting to three thousand pesos (Php3,000.00) issued by Presiding Judge Hon Johnabel H Tabunda of the 7th Municipal Circuit Trial Court, Dimataling, Tabina and Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur.

Subject arrested person was brought and temporary detained at Tabina MPS custodial facility for proper documentation and disposition.

PNP seized 2 firearms in Law Enforcement

TABINA, Zamboanga Del Sur (Aug. 29, 2018)–The Joint PNP elements of Zamboanga Del Sur PPO, 2nd Mobile Company of Regional Mobile Force Battalion and Tabina MPS confiscated two firarms during nthe conduct of simultaneous implementation of Search Warrants in Tabina municipality of this province Tuesday,  August 28 at about 6:30am, police official said.

Police Regional Office 9 PIO Chief PCINSP Helen l, Galvez disclosed that the operating team implemented three Search Warrants:

Numbers 18-009 for Violation of R.A. 9516 and 18-010 for Violation of RA 10591 against Merhan Cariete Cangmawong,

18-011 for Violation of RA 9516 and 18-012 for Violation of R.A. 10591 against Ruperto Parame Isanan, Jr., and,

18-015 for Violation of R.A. 9516 and 18-016 for Violation of R.A 10591 against Juan Rosalijos Monterola at Purok Pangalaran, Brgy. Malim, Purok Alto, Brgy. Concepcion and Barangay Manicaan, all of Tabina, Zamboanga Del Sur.

Galvez said that during the implementation of the Search Warrants, the following items were seized from the premises of the following to wit:

a. Merhan Cariete Cangmawong - five pcs of live ammunitions of caliber 45;

b. Ruperto Parame Isanan, Jr. – Negative

c. Juan Rosalijos Monterola–one pc caliber 45 pistol (Colt) with Serial No. 781596 loaded with one live ammo, three units magazine for caliber 45,  eight live ammunitions of caliber 45 and, one unit inside holster.

Respondent MerhanCarieteCangmawong was placed under arrest and was duly informed of his constitutional rights in the dialect he understood and that he is conversant, Galvez added.

Meanwhile, at about 7:00am of same date, as PNP Personnel were about to proceed to BrgyManicaan, Tabina. While along their way, upon passing the road where the Marine Sanctuary of Barangay Concepcion, Tabina, is located, said PNP team meet and identified Juan RosalijosMonterola the subject of Search Warrant Numbers 18-015 for Violation of R.A.9516 and 18-016 for violation of R.A. 10591.

Galvez said that the operating team immediately halted Juan Monterola purposely to inform him that the team will conduct a search of his premises. But during the confrontation, the team saw in plain view Juan Monterola has a short firearm in his waist wherein it can be easily identified since he inserted it to his shirt tucked to his pants.

Proper documentation of the implementation of Search Warrants were made in the presence of the witnesses and the respondents were brought to Tabina MPS for further investigation including the seized evidence for filing of an inquest case at the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office, Pagadian City.

Evidence recovered likewise were turned-over to PNP Crime Laboratory, Camp Abelon, Pagadian City for ballistic examination and request for firearms verification was also facilitated at the FESAG section to strengthen the case against the suspect/s. (By JONG CADION)

Suicide Incident in Tabina, Zamboanga Del Sur

TABINA, Zamboanga del Sur (Aug.25, 2-19) - A suicide incident transpired at Purok Balite, Brgy Baganian, Tabina, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 08:30 M of August 23, 2018. Investigation conducted disclosed that a certain Fely Florida y Villegas, male, 36 years old, single, fisherman and presently residing at Purok Balite, Brgy Baganian, Tabina, Zamboanga Del Sur, hanged himself using 17 pcs bundled #30 fishing nylon that was tied at the wooden roof thrush of their house towards his neck.

SPO2 Nimrod B. Baja, case investigator disclosed that Carolyn Rendula y Maghanoy, female, 35 years old, the live-in-partner of the victim for ten years, said that his live-in partner had a drinking spree together with their neighbors at a nearby store, eventually got drunk, accordingly, every time he gets drunk, he loses control of himself and resorts to breaking/throwing/destroying house materials/items and worst, physically assaults her live-in partner as he lost control of himself.

Prior to that, Carolyn advised her live-in partner to stop drinking alcoholic beverage but he didn’t bother to obey her advice. Carolyn who felt ill last night because of fever opted to sleep at his parent’s house also at the same Purok in order to avoid his drunken live-in partner, and told her live-in partner to go home.

At about 10:30 o’clock in the evening, Fely Florida went home alone. Their neighbors heard Fely Florida shouting, throwing something, destroying the wooden wall of their house and even crying alone. Their neighbors were used to his actuations when he gets drunk. Meanwhile, at about 07:00 o’clock in the morning of August 23, 2018, Carolyn Rendula went to their house to check her live-in partner and their house thinking that the drunkenness of Fely had already subside but was surprise to find out the lifeless body of her live-in partner hanged at their house. Further investigation disclosed that Fely Florida had attempted to commit suicide in the past but was halted.

Child died in Drowning Incident

TABINA, Zamboanga del Sur (Aug.16, 2018) -  A child was died in Drowning incident transpired at Purok Bayanihan, Poblacion, Tabina, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8:40 PM of August 14, 2018.

Tabina MPS identified the victim as Simplice Louise Babao, 4-year-old child and resident of same place. Initial investigation disclosed that the child along with his siblings were left at the care of their grandparents, since their parents had separated and the child’s mother was in Manila applying for a job abroad.

The child was last seen at about 08:00am of same day, left alone sleeping at the house of his grandparents, his elder siblings had went to school and his grandfather who serves as his guardian have attended their sari-sari store located about 30-40 meters away from their house.

Accordingly, as the child gets up, normally, he will go to his grandparents store to have his meal or to the house of his aunt besides his grandparents’ house. On or about 1:00pm this day, his grandfather wondered why his grandson failed to show-up at their store, thereby, they went on to look after his grandson and at about 08:15pmM, finally their neighbors found the lifeless body of the child submerge at the mini fish pond of their neighbor.

The child since unattended is believed to have curiously played thereat and eventually fell and failed to recover at aforesaid mini fish pond. Investigator is SPO1 Nimrod B. Baja with CP number 09122301706.

1 dead inb Shooting Incident

TABINA, Zamboanga del Sur (Aug.11, 2018) – One killed in Shooting incident occurred at Purok 1, Maguiles, Tabina, Zamboanga Del Sur about 7:50 P.M of August 10, 2018.

Initial investigation disclosed that the victim identified as Raul Templanza Cañiban, 58 years old, STL Sales agent and resident of Purok 1, Brgy Maguiles, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur while doing his regular routine as STL sales agent collecting STL bets from the bettors, he was shot by unidentified perpetrators using unidentified caliber of FAs.

The Victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the different parts of his body which resulted to his death.

The Suspects immediately left the area heading towards Brgy Guitran, Dumingag on board an unknown type of single MC.

Recovered from the crime scene are four empty shells and two bullet slugs. Motive of the incident is still to be determined. Progress report will follow. Investigator is SPO2 Julito T Pamalaran with CP # 0926-6335-221.   

House razed by fire in Tabina

TABINA, Zamboanga del Sur (July 8, 2018) – A fire incident transpired at Purok Sarilikha, Barangay Poblacion, Tabina of this province Friday at about 6:30 AM.

PNP personnel of Tabina MPS immediately responded to the reported place of incident upon receipt of the report.

Investigation conducted disclosed that Haide Sabroso Acal, legal age and a resident of said place owned the house razed by fire.

Further investigation revealed that about 5:30 AM, while the house owner left her house, her father Wennie Sabroso noticed that there was a smoke coming inside the said house and when he about to open the main door he saw the strong fire inside.

He exerted effort to save the said house but a minute after it was tarred by fire and electrical wiring was the possible causes of incident and estimated value/damages was amounting to seventy thousand pesos only.

Ex-Barangay Chair survived from shooting incident in Tabina

TABINA, Zamboanga del Sur (April 15, 2018) – The former Barangay Chairman planning to run this Barangay and SK Election survived from a shooting incident transpired at Purok Sidlak, Barangay Capisan in this municipality Saturday 9:30pm, Police Official said.

Case Investigator SPO1 Nimrod B. Baja identified the victim as Marioa Estrebor Sajulga, 44 years old, married, businessman, former barangay captain and a resident of Purok 1, Barangay Matin-Ao, Pitogo, of this province and planning to run for barangay captain of barangay Matin-ao of same municipality.

Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the warehouse of the victim was shot by unidentified persons using a Cal 5.56mm rifle based on the forty two (42) pcs of fired cartridge cases of same caliber recovered at the crime scene, Case Investigator said.    

  

Further investigation revealed that, prior to the incident, the said victim was fixing the battery of his bonggo (Mazda) parked outside his warehouse while his family were all inside the warehouse watching television, SPO1 Baja added. Fortunately, nobody was hurt during the incident.

Right after the incident, suspect fled towards the ravine area of Barangay Matinao, Pitogo, Zamboanga del Sur. PNP elements of Tabina MPS conducted follow up investigation for possible arrest of the suspect while the motive believed to be an election related incident. (By Jong Cadion)
